How We Began
My journey into dog apparel didn’t start in the pet industry, but on the pattern-cutting tables of the London College of Fashion. For years, I immersed myself in human tailoring—learning how fabrics move, drape, and protect.
But in 2025, everything changed when I adopted Yabi, a miniature dachshund born with a visual impairment in his right eye. Watching this brave, low-to-the-ground soul navigate a world built for giant feet inspired me.
Standard dog coats either dragged on the wet ground, choked his deep chest, or failed to protect his long, sensitive spine.
Engineering the Perfect Fit
We realized that unique dogs deserve unique tailoring. ArtisanUni was born to channel high-fashion expertise into high-performance.
We don't just make "cute" clothes; we engineer solutions. We deeply study the anatomy of dachshunds and elongated breeds—their deep chests, prominent ribcages, and low profiles. By combining technical fabrics with precise, breed-specific tailoring, we create outerwear that offers real protection and maximum mobility.
